Important functions for your workflow

The JobControlCenter is used to plan and control xmedia-specific tasks and IT processes. In particular, various xmedia import and export functions and product synchronisation between the DataManager and the ViewEditor can be executed on a time-controlled basis with the help of the JobControlCenter. With its graphical user interface, the JobControlCenter also offers a clear cockpit function that displays an overview of all running and planned jobs and their statuses.

Monitoring of the PIM server

The DashBoard is a framework application into which widgets can be integrated to visualise various status and condition properties of the PIM system. The widgets are configurable and can query the data to be visualised via xmedia's REST-API interface. A connection to server monitoring is also possible via an interface to Prometheus.

Modular endpoint connection

The RestAPI module allows queries to the xmedia data model and returns them as JSON objects. The module is integrated into the xmedia Javascript framework. In addition to the endpoints supplied as standard for querying views, products, product groups, characteristic values, etc., it is also possible to make your own customised extensions in the REST API.

WorkflowManager can be used to model and control workflows and approval processes within the PIM system. The WorkflowManager is based on the open source BPM framework camunda and extends xmedia's manual, worklist-based task management with automated workflow management.

AssetUploader

 The AssetUploader in combination with a DAM system such as Pixelboxx or Canto offers an efficient and reliable solution for managing your digital assets. The automation, centralisation and standardisation of processes makes working with digital media much easier and improves collaboration.

Integration into existing workflows

The AssetUploader is a configurable tool that, as a supplement to the AssetManager or AssetBrowser, enables the automated upload of files from predefined file directories (hot folders) to the connected DAM system when one of the two DAM systems Pixelboxx or Canto is connected.

Files are automatically labelled with consistent file names and metadata, making them easier to search and reuse.

Through centralisation, flexibility and integration into existing workflows, it contributes to optimised asset management and faster time-to-market.
