For this reason, DUSCHOLUX offers a wide range of design variations and products. Lots of choice increases the chance of offering the right design to the customer. DUSCHOLUX uses digital solutions to present its range as attractively and clearly as possible.
Over 300,000 different variants are available and should therefore be made tangible for customers on the company's own website. After all, the best way to make decisions is to see the design ‘live’. In addition to the media agency RLS jakobsmeyer, DUSCHOLUX opted for the PIM experts from myview for the implementation.
The premium brand DUSCHOLUX is a Swiss-German family business with headquarters and production in Thun. It has been a leading manufacturer in the sanitary sector since 1967 and stands for lasting quality and innovation. DUSCHOLUX is best known for its high-quality shower enclosures, which can be customised to meet virtually any special requirement. In addition to these, the company also offers bathtubs and shower bases. The modular PanElle wall panelling system in many different decors is also part of the DUSCHOLUX product portfolio.
At the beginning of 2019, DUSCHOLUX completely revamped its image and reorganised its product portfolio into the five product worlds Viva, Collection, Air, Bella Vita and Allegra. DUSCHOLUX remains true to its high standards.

Complex designs are empty and incomprehensible in text format. But with the right pictures and models, such fittings can be visualised quickly and easily.
On the new DUSCHOLUX website, the product configurator combines images and models to create an attractive product presentation.
The PIM system xmedia forms the basis for the realisation. It centrally manages product information for the DUSCHOLUX product range. From product data to assets and descriptive texts, the data in the system is entered completely and clearly. The product data is provided to the CMS system of the new website via the xom API interface. The API is designed to minimise loading times. The user can click through the product configurator in real time and never experience a shower like any other. Over 300,000 variant configurations are possible. The system can be configured as required by DUSCHOLUX, and maintenance and automation processes are customised.
The above case study describes a product range with different variation and configuration options. Customers can select their product favourites and make adjustments. For international customers, this is of course also possible in one of the 12 languages of choice. A connection of the website to the common e-commerce functions of SAP enables DUSCHOLUX to provide an overview of the order status.
The configuration codes are particularly interesting for customers. For each selection of a combinations, a unique code can be generated under which the favoured design is stored. the favoured design is stored. At the same time, a PDF export of the desired design is possible.
