IviPep - Tools for designing individualised virtual product development processes in Industry 4.0
Description:
The joint project ‘IviPep - Work 4.0 in Product Creation’ will develop a set of tools for designing individualised virtual product creation processes in Industry 4.0. Digital technologies and concepts will be used to support work in product creation.
myview systems is leading the enabling sub-project and supporting the pilot companies in the business-friendly design of digitalised work. This is achieved by providing an online platform for managing the results developed in the individual work packages.
In addition to myview systems as the implementation partner company, the network consists of three university partners, four pilot companies and one implementation partner company and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the European Social Fund (ESF) for a period of three years. The joint project is being coordinated by the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechatronic Design Technology (IEM) in Paderborn.

Development objective:
The aim of the project is to develop an intelligent set of tools for human-centred design of the digital working environment while simultaneously increasing the efficiency of product development. This consists of a database of available digital solutions and their specific potential for shaping the world of work, a methodology for identifying company-specific requirements for digital solutions, a process model for implementing the technologies in an employee-friendly way and a platform for broad transfer. In five different use cases, the requirements for the tools are derived from practical experience with companies and tested in pilots to shape the working world of tomorrow. The results can be customised for each company using a quick check.
