Our Understanding of Sustainability
For us, sustainability means acting responsibly towards our employees, our customers, society and the environment.
As a medium-sized company, we see it as our responsibility to use the resources available to us to contribute step by step to sustainable transformation.
Better Quantification of our CO₂ Footprint
Environmental Responsibility
Since we do not manufacture physical products and work digitally, our environmental footprint is comparatively small. Nevertheless, we focus on the following areas:
- Remote work and working from home significantly reduce commuting
- Paperless processes in administration and communication
- Cloud infrastructure with a provider offering verified CO₂ compensation
- Use of green electricity at our premises where possible
Goal: As a next step, we aim to better quantify our CO₂ footprint and develop long-term reduction targets.

- Data protection and IT security are an integral part of our work.
- We maintain collaborative relationships with our customers and prefer to work with companies that share our values.
- Compliance requirements, e.g. regarding license usage, remuneration and equal treatment, are adhered to.
Goal: To assess the introduction of a formal sustainability strategy and its extension to our supply chains, e.g. IT service providers and hosting providers.

Outlook & Next Steps
We see this report as a first step towards a more structured sustainability strategy. In the coming year, we aim to:
- Have the CO₂ emissions from our business activities assessed
- Involve our employees in gathering ideas for sustainable improvements
- Establish initial basic ESG metrics and review them regularly
